Los que me conocéis ya lo sabréis, y los que no, ahora os enteraréis... Las obras de arte en papel son uno de mis grandes objetos de deseo. Sueño con el día en que una de estas "manualidades" decore alguna de las estancias de mi pequeño pero acogedor hogar. Sueño con el día en que pueda conocer y felicitar cara a cara a alguno de los artistas que con sus delicadas y curtidas manos esculpen y dan forma a estas pequeñas-grandes "curiosidades". Sueño con el día en que al llegar a mi restaurante favorito de  la ciudad en la que viva, unos apuestos camareros me sirvan estas "delicias" en el plato y me digan -Bon appétit, Mademoiselle- y yo con una gran copa de este delicioso vino en la mano y una amplia sonrisa en la cara, les diga -Merci beaucoup. C´est très aimable à vous- ...

Those of you who already know me, you´ll know what I´m talking about and those who don´t, you´ll discover it soon... Paper art works are one of my biggest objects of desire. I dream of the day one of those "crafts" will decorate some of the rooms of my small but cozy home. I dream of the day I will be able to meet and congratulate some of the artists that, by means of their delicate and hardened hands, sculpt and give shape to these "curiosities". I dream of the day, when arriving to my favourite restaurant of whichever city I live at the time, some handsome waiters will serve these "delicacies" to me and say -Bon appétit, Mademoiselle- while, with a glass of this delicious wine in one hand and a big smile in my face, I respond to them -Merci beaucoup. C´est très aimable à vous- ...

MY STYLE: BOATS, ANCHORS AND MERMAIDS

Hace tiempo que no posteo ningún look en el blog y hasta que no recupere a mi fotógrafa particular (Cati vuelveee), tendré que tirar  un poco de archivo... Las fotos me las hizo un buen amigo bloggero: Roberto Sena de Life Behaviour con motivo de la inauguración de la tienda "Indi & Cold" en la calle Lagasca de Madrid. Os recomiendo encarecidamente a ambos dos. Él, todo un profesional de la moda y un encanto de persona; y ella, una marca española de moda para mujer que apuesta por la creatividad, la feminidad, el color y la pasión por los detalles. Una marca que he visto crecer y que espero que lo siga haciendo por mucho tiempo.

It´s been long time since I last posted one look of mine but until I get my sister-photographer back, I´ll have to look at past files and show them all... These pics were made by a great blogger friend: Roberto Sena from Life Behaviour due to the opening of "Indi & Cold"´s new shop in Lagasca´s street in Madrid. I really recommend you both of them. He is not only an amazing proffesional in the fashion industry but a lovely person too. And "she" is a beautiful Spanish brand which designs women clothes and goes for creativity, feminity, color and passion for the small details. A brand that I´m honoured to having been able to see it grow and that I hope it continues doing it so.

HOME DECO: BOHEMIAN STYLE LOFT IN MADRID

Hace unos días encontré las fotos de este precioso loft de estilo bohemio que me enamoró desde el instante número uno!!. El dueño del mismo es el fotógrafo madrileño Manolo Yllera quien ha conseguido aunar en un amplio espacio neutral, que hace las veces de su estudio, elementos industriales con otros de marcado carácter vintage. Yo me mudaría sin dudarlo aquí, ¿y vosotr@s?.

Several days ago I stummbled into this bohemian style loft whose owner, the Spanish photographer Manolo Yllera, has managed to create a very neutral space combining industrial elements with vintage ones. I really love it and would definitely relocate there if I could, and you?.

FASHION EDITORIAL: FLOWER BLOOM IN TOWN & COUNTRY MAGAZINE

Han pasado casi seis meses desde mi última actualización del blog y otras tantas cosas en mi vida que han dificultado el seguimiento del mismo. No siempre se tiene tiempo para escribir ni ganas para hacerlo. Pido disculpas a los muchos o pocos, pero siempre importantes, lectores de mi pequeño rincón del mundo; porque aunque suene a tópico, la realidad es que sin vosotros esto no sería posible. Así que aunque no quiero recordar las causas de mi desaparición, sí quiero pensar en las consecuencias de la misma: la vuelta al ruedo de MY LITTLE SUEDE SHOES. Solo espero estar a la altura y recuperar la felicidad que me producía de antaño...

It´s been 6 months since I last posted something in my blog. Lots of things had happened since then that complicated the following of it. Not always I had time to write nor willing of doing it so and I truly apologize for that because you´ve been the ones that made this possible; but that´s the way things happened... So, although I don´t want to remember the reasons that made me abandon my petite world, I do want to think of the consequences of it: the return of MY LITTLE SUEDE SHOES. I just wish I can be at the cutting edge of it and to regain the happiness I had in the old days...

FASHION DESIGNERS & PHOTOGRAPHERS: TIM WALKER FOR O´2nd

Buenos días!!. Hoy os quiero presentar una marca que acabo de descubrir y cuya campaña de Otoño/Invierno 2012-2013 ha sido encargada a uno de mis fotógrafos de cabecera: TIM WALKER. Con base en Korea, O´2nd representa el compromiso entre una persona soñadora y otra pragmática. Mientras la primera es colorista, extravagante, graciosa, original y polifacética; la otra cara de la misma chica es práctica, sencilla y siempre clásica. Pero existe una perfecta sinergia entre ambas dos. Tal y como la misma directora creativa afirma, sus colecciones hablan de la vida diaria de esta chica: sus momentos más divertidos, sus confidencias más íntimas, su carácter más tímido o sus días más tristes. Apuestan por una mezcla inteligente de tejidos estructurados y etéreos, pero sin dejar de lado la comodidad, por las originales mezclas de estampados y colores, y por las prendas atemporales. 

Good morning!!. Today I´d love to introduce you to a whole new brand I´ve recently discovered and whose fall/winter 2012-2013 campaign has been entrusted to Tim Walker. Based in Korea, O´2nd represents an engagement between a dreamer and a pragmatist. While the dreamer is colorful, quirky, funny, unconventional and multifaceted; this same girl is also practical, easy and always classic. There is a perfect synergy between the two. Just as the fashion director relates, the collection exudes the daily life of this girl and walks us through her fun moments, confident moments, shy moments and even her off moments... There is an intelligent mix of structured and ethereal textures, but there is always ease and comfort; they are never restricting. O´2nd also loves color and the unexpected mix of patterns and prints that are easy to wear and can transition well. The key word for design in O´2nd is seasonless.

MY STYLE: I´M NOT A BALLERINA

Buenos días!! Siento hacer últimamente mi aparición una vez al mes, pero el trabajo me tiene completamente absorbida y la organización no es mi punto fuerte... ;) Espero algún día (pronto) volver a la normalidad... y volver a dedicar el tiempo que merecen vuestros blogs!!!
